Official – Life In The Uk Has Become ‘lonelier’ – What Can Be Done?

So, life is lonelier. Official. I could have pointed that out without the ‘research’ in the article.
Is there anywhere outside of rural areas, or retiree type backwaters where we say hello to our neighbours or local workers? I for one would love to chat to a postman – if I could find one who will converse with me in my native language (I am being serious).
Does anyone have a spare set of keys to ‘mind’ your house when you are away? What happened to the neighbours who brought round some fresh brambles/apples from their garden in Autumn? When was the last time you helped/had help from a neighbour? Do you even know who your neighbours are?
A sense of community. I do not know what these words mean anymore. A sense of community would no doubt have helped Baby P and the victims of the ‘British Fritzl’.
I concur that UK has become so worryingly detached in terms of having a ‘community’, that I feel this word no longer applies in the British Language. Why is this though? Crime? Immigration? Changes in values over the years? Lack of milkmen?

Can I Move My Sectional Garage Without Planning Permission?

Hi, I have a large garden, approximately one third of an acre and it has a pre-cast concrete sectional garage approximately 6 metres wide x 8 metres long. With it being sectinal it can easily be dismantled and re-built.
The garage is sited 30 metres from the back of my house and on the boundary line at the right hand side and I wish to move it to the boundary line on the left hand side.
Planning permission was originally gained when the garage was erected some 20 years ago.
The reason I want to move it is it is on the wrong side of my property as my drive way is on the left. The surroundin trees are undermining the garage base and think it best to move it away from the trees. Both neighbours do not have any objections.

Okay, my mother is buying him a new PS2 because his old one broke down. I can’t buy him another game because he has a million of them and only plays one at a time. (for a very very long amount of time).
I have bought him many cap, t-shirts, jackets, of his favorite sports teams, so no to that.
He hates going shopping in any stores so gift cards are a big no-no.
He has like every tool or gadget known to man!!!
We have a garden and he likes decorations for it, but…we usually make them ourselfs, he takes pride in things like that…
I am just completly stumped this year to what to get him! HELP ME PLEASE!

1) My bush is really overgrown round the front and my back passage has
fungus growing in it.
