For the first time in my life, I’m going to live in a REAL house (after living in a trailer for 18 years!) and this house has quite a lot of lawn that I would like to make into a beautiful garden, like the ones you see in New Orleans, hidden by those French-looking black iron fences, with lots of stone and green.
Except…I don’t know where to start! Can anyone provide me with resources for this kind of garden building, or show me pictures of the kind of garden I’m talking about (I’m actually having quite a difficult time finding some)? I would especially love links to websites that sell this type of material.

I had some rust spots on our brand new cedar deck from the carpenters metal tools being on them for so long. The people said to use this deck cleaner which I think contains oxalic acid/wood bleach. It said to use full strength for rust, so I did on the spots. Then I mixed it with water to dilute and went over the whole deck since it is supposed to be a deck cleaner and get it ready for staining/sealing. I waited 15minutes, then went over the whole thing with the garden hose. Then mixed baking soda + water and went over the deck again to stop it. Now the deck is zebra’d. There are parts that look fine, and parts that are now dark almost as if the rust spots spread around. They wont come off with washing, and they wont come off with sanding. Should I put another coat of the deck cleaner on but do something afterwords differently to prevent this? This is a brand new, never sealed, never stained deck that we wanted perfect before sealing, and now it looks horrible. Please help.

Planted a tree in the middle of the garden that he knew will tempt them & lead them to fall, then simply commands them not to do what he already knew they will. So who is at fault, them or God?
Women can be cool, but sometimes I get angry thinkign how she caused Adam to fall “For Adam was not deceived, but Eve, being the transgressor, offered to Adam”.
Sometimes it feels like, because of that Biblical verse, that it is like God gave man the curse of having to have woman.
I don’t know what to make of life sometimes. I just know I am not happy, definitely not with how God is doing things.
If God would just shut up, give me my own God powers, I won’t have any problems, & God will never see me again, cause I will solve my own problems.
Then he can’t complain & whine like a baby all the time because I didn’t do this or that like he wanted.
I feel like asking a refund on life! Free? Refund!

I purchased some in a 25lb. bag at home depot or steins garden center a few years ago but can’t remember what it was called. It was safe to use around pets and it helped the lawn spring back to life.

Is it fair on the kitten which one day will grow up to be a cat to stay cooped up inside? I’ve always had cats all my life but never have had a “house cat” before. But I’d really like a kitten! Can anyone give me some advice?
