Can I Move My Sectional Garage Without Planning Permission?
Hi, I have a large garden, approximately one third of an acre and it has a pre-cast concrete sectional garage approximately 6 metres wide x 8 metres long. With it being sectinal it can easily be dismantled and re-built.
The garage is sited 30 metres from the back of my house and on the boundary line at the right hand side and I wish to move it to the boundary line on the left hand side.
Planning permission was originally gained when the garage was erected some 20 years ago.
The reason I want to move it is it is on the wrong side of my property as my drive way is on the left. The surroundin trees are undermining the garage base and think it best to move it away from the trees. Both neighbours do not have any objections.
Thanks

we would like to buy a cottage which is semi detached and overlooking farmland, however the living room is very small, but they do have a conservatory (part brick built) attached to one of the outside walls leading to the garden, I realise we would have to put up an rsj, but would we need planning permission to do the work?…thanks

Lady Across The Road From Me Is Building A 7foot High Garden Wall.she Has No Planning Permission. Where Do I?
the road is private property to all residents. she is planning on moving the existing boundary out towards my property, making the roadway narrower and less accessible to other residents and service users.no one has been notified by the council, so i assume she has no planning permission. her boundary line is a staggered one. does she need permission to build what will be a huge nuisance to the other residents?the road is very narrow in parts and is quite difficult for large vehicles to manoevure through. also, it will be difficult for at least 3 residents to park and manoevure their cars without causing damage to property. my car has been damage by a large lorry trying to turn onto her driveway this week, thats how tight space is at present. it will be worse if the wall is built. help please!
What Is Everyone Else Planning On Having For Dinner?
I love these questions for the ideas and recipes and I haven’t seen one in a little while so I thought I’d ask. What is everyone planning on making for dinner?
We’re having homemade fried rice with fresh sugar snap peas from my garden, little pieces of carrot, leftover pork, an egg or two scrambled into it, green onions and whatever else I can think of, with soy sauce over all of it, and then fried till some of the rice is a little bit crispy.
Do I Need Planning Permission To Put A 2metre Boundary Fence Up?
My new place in Canterbury, England doesn’t have an enclosed rear garden due to a fence never being erected. Do I need planning permission from the council to erect a 2 metre high fence at the edge of my boundary with the public pavement?

For Those Of You Planning On Getting Sims 3…?
Will you still buy it if they put on SecuROM or limited installations like Spore?
http://reclaimyourgame.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=42&Itemid=6
It basically says SecuROM is this security thing they put on games without your consent and it downloads itself on your computer when you install the game. It’s supposed to prevent piracy and stuff, but for a lot of people, it messes up their computers and stuff. A lot of people are turning to piracy because of it. Even if you uninstall the game, the SecuROM stays on your computer, and it’s very hard to remove.
So far these Sims games have SecuROM:
SimCity Societies (7.35.0008)
The Sims Castaway Stories (7.35.0007)
The Sims Pet Stories (7.33.0004)
The Sims 2 Apartment Life (7.37.0012)
The Sims 2 Bon Voyage (7.33.0014)
The Sims 2 Deluxe (7.32.0010)
The Sims 2 Double Deluxe (7.36.0010)
The Sims 2 FreeTime (7.37.0007)
The Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff (7.00.00.0311)
The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff (7.37.0007)
The Sims 2 Kitchen and Bath Interior Design Stuff (7.xx.xxxx)
The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff (7.38.xxxx)
The Sims 2 Teen Style Stuff (7.xx.xxxx)
Spore† (7.37.0014)
Spore Creature Creator† (7.36.0012)
Will you still get the game if it has SecuROM? I’m still thinking about it, but I’m leaning towards not…….
Extension – Do I Need Planning Permission?
We would like to extend our kitchen and bathroom on our bungalow, the extension would be one storey and would not be viewable from any road as our garden backs onto fields with 60ft trees between.
This would increase the house size by about 15%.
Also we would like dormer windows upstairs facing the back garden once again, would that require planning permission?
Any idea of costs for the extension including a nice new kitchen and bathroom?
UK answers only please.
Thank you!
