I have the plans for a torii arch that I want to use to build one for my garden. Should the torii arch face a particular direction (i.e.north, east, south, west) or doesn’t it matter which way it faces?

I have a degree in Business Management/Marketing, but hate sitting in an office all day. I also sold media. The job was very lucrative and I functioned well in that capacity, however it was to much pressure and I was never home (family is important to me.) I went to school for teaching, but after a year I decided that the job market and salary would not meet my needs. I am very artistic. I love to draw, read, write, decorate my home and bake. I enjoy helping and taking care of others when they are sick or listening when they need advice. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and although I know nothing about automobiles, I have no problem opening up the hood and trying to figure out what is going on (my husband does not appreciate this). I really like to garden and plant flowers. I get bored easily and enjoy variety. Unfortunately, most of the jobs that I would like do not pay very well. It’s to a wedding, and some other events. I have:
1.A red dress
-puffy at the bottm
-it has a short coat
-it has a bow and a shiny clip
-it goes all the way to my knees
2.A Yellow dress
-very plain
-”straight”
-has a flowery design near the waist
-it goes all the way down to my ankles
3. A white dress with black flower prints
-straight
-thin straps
-I kinda have almost everything to match with it except for shoes
-its up to my knees
The wedding is going to be at a garden. There another event, I also have trouble choosing it is for prom and graduation.
HELP ME !!!! I don’t what to do! lots of people are giving me bad advice!

All the ideas I’ve had for tattoos are too expensive for me at the moment, I wouldn’t mine just some generic, optically pleasing design just to go on my arm or something in the mean time.
I don’t want one of those garden variety tribal ones, something with the same black/white contrast would be good though.
Does any body have any ideas?

Can anyone think of one of the top of their head?

I’m planning to grow some pumpkins in my garden, and have plenty of space for them to grow. My question is, should I keep the grass from growing in that area where the pumpkins will be, or should I keep it cut and weeded so they lay directly on the ground/dirt? Can the ground make them rot?

Hello,
We are doing our wedding at a beautiful garden venue that only allows daytime weddings, ending at 8pm. How early should I start the ceremony so that we feel “done” at 8pm, in your experience? We will be having a short ceremony (under 20 minutes) in one of the gardens followed by a late luncheon reception. Since we must be done by 8pm, should I start the ceremony at 2pm or 3pm to play it safe?
We think we’ll plan to have everyone meet somewhere afterwards for cocktails.

Basically I covered the soil and roots with compost from the store and pressed it down with my hands (not overly tight though, Im beginning to wonder if I should check them again to make sure they dont fall over when they start flowering.
Any advice on what to do to prolong their life and what to use or do? I work in a DIY store but know little about gardening, lol.

my ideas so far are:
a complete set of hand tools, a power saw,
an inflatable moose head, a raccoon skin fur hat, long johns, a spanking,
a spare tire for her car, a pellet gun, a poster of myself,
a riding lawn mower, or a garden shovel????
